We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Orchards at Douglas Cove, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and residents.

Pay starts at $40.00 per hour and increases based on experience.

About the Role

As an SLP, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized speech therapy programs for patients recovering from various medical conditions, as well as residents with cognitive and communication disorders. Your expertise will help patients improve their communication skills, regain independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

• Conduct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups

• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physical, occupational, and recreational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care

• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Clinical Fellowship (CF) completed or nearing completion

• Current State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
