BMS Project Manager - Tridium Niagara

Based out oftheir Dallas office, you'll manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through commissioning, working alongside clients ranging from Fortune 500 real estate portfolios to cutting-edge healthcare and mixed-use developments. Why This Opportunity? $120k BASE + a Performance bonus structure that actually pays out every year CAREER GROWTH - a clear path to Director level as the company scales across the Southwest REAL AUTONOMY - you will own your projects end to end with no micromanaging TEAM CULTURE -collaborative, low-ego, high-performance — people stay The Day To Day Lead end-to-end delivery of BMS/BAS projects from scoping and design through installation, commissioning, and handover Serve as the primary client-facing contact — building trust, managing expectations, and turning clients into repeat customers Oversee Tridium Niagara 4 programming, graphics development, and system integration across HVAC, lighting, access, and energy platforms Manage subcontractors, field technicians, and vendors — keeping projects on time, on budget, and on spec Develop and review project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Conduct site walks, system commissioning, and functional performance testing Collaborate with pre-construction and estimating teams on bids and proposals for new work Mentor junior engineers and technicians, supporting a culture of technical excellence Identify and drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara 5+ years in BMS/BAS project management or a senior field engineering role with PM responsibility Proven track record delivering commercial or industrial BMS projects from contract to closeout Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls sequences, and building automation architecture Excellent communication skills — you\'re as comfortable in a client boardroom as on a job site Highly Desirable: Experience with Haystack or Brick Schema tagging for smart building analytics Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, or MQTT protocol integration PMP or equivalent project management certification Prior experience in healthcare, data center, or Class A commercial real estate environments Knowledge of ASHRAE 135, Title 24, or local Texas energy codes
