Step into a dynamic middle school environment, providing essential speech-language services for students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference, covering a maternity leave and working closely with a collaborative educational team. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through October 27, 2026, allowing for strong rapport-building and the ability to impact student growth across the school year. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered Previous experience in a school-based setting, with preference for middle school experience Strong communication and organization skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to the needs of diverse learners Key Responsibilities: Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in a supportive classroom setting Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for communication disorders within the school In this role, you’ll experience the rewards of helping students grow academically and socially, while working with a dedicated group of educators.
