Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Romulus, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
Basic knowledge of personal care and health safety standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation to and from the job location in Romulus, MI.
Must pass necessary background checks.
