Healthcare Systems Analyst

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience as a Systems/Business Analyst identifying business objectives, alternative solutions, and cost/benefit analysis of system improvements.

• Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, operational procedures, and translating business needs into detailed program specifications.

• Experience in documenting input/output requirements, data formats, and reporting specifications for system enhancements.

• Experience with IT architecture concepts, infrastructure principles, and emerging technology evaluation.

• Experience with healthcare applications and public sector systems support.

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business objectives and operational problems to identify and evaluate alternative system solutions.

• Confer with organizational stakeholders to assess current procedures, input/output requirements, and reporting formats.

• Document detailed user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer systems.

• Perform cost/benefit analysis and feasibility studies to support system improvement recommendations.

• Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility of requested changes.

• Support healthcare application initiatives and align documentation with project delivery framework standards.
