We're hiring a Medical Technologist for a full-time permanent opportunity at a leading acute care hospital in Bradenton, Florida .
Position Highlights
- Full-Time
- Evening & Night Shifts
- Rotating Weekends
- Pay: $27.09–$37.92/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and STAT laboratory testing
- Work in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
- Analyze patient specimens and ensure accurate, timely results
- Maintain laboratory quality and regulatory standards
- Assist with specimen processing and related laboratory duties
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Medical Technology (Bachelor's preferred)
- Active Florida Medical Technologist License (minimum 3 laboratory specialties required )
- ASCP certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of hospital laboratory experience preferred
- Blood Bank experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and covering multiple lab departments
