Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy principles and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs
• Develop targeted therapy goals and interventions in alignment with IEP requirements
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual or group sessions
• Document progress regularly and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support student participation in academic and daily activities
• Educate and provide resources to teachers and parents to encourage skill generalization across environments
