What will I do as an MIT with Insomnia Cookies? Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present. Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members involved in cookie sales and customer deliveries. Lead onboarding and initial training of new hourly staff. Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence. Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling. Ensure staff adhere to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.). Drive upselling and ensure excellent customer service from all team members. Desired skills/experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems Ability to work a 4-5 day week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun) Must be 18+ and legally eligible for employment in the U.S. About us: Founded in a college dorm by Seth Berkowitz, Insomnia Cookies has grown into a cult brand with over 300 stores worldwide.
