You'll find your choice of career opportunities, great benefits, an environment that welcomes and values creativity, and a work experience that is both challenging and rewarding!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Mail/Inter-Office Runner Coordination – daily mail sorting/routing to team membersOversee AP, AR, cash flow management, and account reconciliationProcess check runs and manage payment schedules efficientlyPrepare/Process/Post Wire TransfersManage employee expense reimbursement and monthly employee credit card reconciliation.Capability to analyze financial reports and recordsReconcile, review, and report daily cash activity and positionsReconcile company balance sheet accountsParticipate in month end close proceduresReconcile balance sheet accountsReconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balancesResponsible for preparing sales tax work papers and submissions monthlyPost Adjusting Journal EntriesSupport any financial and tax audits performedCreate ad hoc reports based on the accounting software as requestedAssist in special projects as requestedAbility to handle all confidential or proprietary information with proper consideration of ethical and legal ramificationsContribute to the transition from paper-based filing systems to digital platforms, showcasing a tech-forward approach.Competencies:Handling multiple entities and maintaining a consolidated general ledgerAbility to prioritize workload to achieve effective results in a fast-paced and growing environmentAbility to work independently, in partnership with others, and in a collaborative roleExcellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-taskExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalCan safeguard company information by observing company security regulationsBe a catalyst for continuous improvement by making recommendations based on empirical data and business experience.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of senior level accounting experienceFamiliarity with accounting and finance principles and proceduresComputer/Equipment Skills:Strong knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, AdobeQuickBooks Premier Accountant, Pro Advisor is a plusEnvironmental Factors/Physical Demands:Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-30 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard.
