Part-Time Rockstar Accountant/Enrolled Agent Needed

Small NYC business management firm seeks an experienced senior accountant for a long‑term position. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, forward‑facing, and needs little handholding. Responsibilities Compile and prepare financial data and enter information on tax forms for personal and corporate returns. Perform meticulous financial recordkeeping for tax preparation, including maintaining and updating financial records. Conduct precise data entry, bank account reconciliation, P&L reporting, budgeting, and compare financial records. Prepare tax returns for corporations and partnerships, and handle and manage Schedule C and K-1s. Work in the entertainment industry and with entrepreneurs, managing diverse client needs. Requirements Experience compiling and preparing financial data for tax returns. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills. Working knowledge of CCH Axcess tax software. Experience with QuickBooks Desktop & Online; XERO accounting software is a plus. Self‑directed, analytical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outgoing demeanor and proactive attitude. Enrolled Agent preferred. Schedule & Compensation 12‑16 hours per week: 1 day in‑office and 1 day remote.
