Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides critical nursing care to patients with acute conditions, ensuring timely assessments, interventions, and ongoing evaluation. They collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement emergency procedures and administer treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses and modify care strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all nursing activities accurately and efficiently in compliance with policies.
• Communicate pertinent information effectively to physicians, patients, and family members.
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of emergency equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio nursing license with current CPR certification.
• Possess an associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrate previous experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
• Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Show ability to prioritize in high-pressure situations and make independent decisions.
