Medical Assistant Certified - Per Diem Urgent Care

Job Overview As a Medical Assistant/MA-C, you’ll help with administrative and clinical tasks like scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC and taking patients’ vital signs at appointments. At our Urgent Care Clinics, we provide a same‑day alternative to the ER, treating non‑life‑threatening injuries and illnesses such as minor illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification Benefits Our best‑in‑class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Pay Range: $26.47 – $40.49 Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
