Job Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:
Conducting patient evaluations, executing standard respiratory care procedures and protocols, performing critical care tasks in adult settings, analyzing blood gases, overseeing the upkeep and management of all equipment, and providing education to patients.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
No prior experience is necessary.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:
Must hold credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and be licensed by the State of Georgia through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required. Candidates should be actively engaged in practice and maintaining all necessary competencies. A preference will be given to those with at least one (1) year of experience in professional respiratory roles.
