Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Maintnenance Mechanic This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems. salary: $73,000 - $85,000 per year shift: Third work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM education: High School Responsibilities Observes mechanical devices in operation and diagnoses malfunctions. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Makes approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Lubricates and cleans parts. Starts devices to test their performance. Effectively install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and hydraulic issues on production equipment, conveyor systems, and facilities related equipment within the plant. Keeps accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records and ensures that all revisions to equipment and tools are properly recorded. Determines equipment/parts needed for repair. Works with Supply Chain department to purchase. Utilizes the CMMS module in the ERP system.
