Job Description As a Armed Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following applicable post‑orders and armed‑response protocols. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and delivery coordination. Document patrol activities, incidents, and security‑related observations through accurate reports and timely communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
