Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP MM / Procurement Lead on behalf of our client in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for an experienced SAP professional with strong functional expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), Procurement, Vendor Management, Purchase Order Management, and SAP Ariba . The selected candidate will lead procurement initiatives, drive process improvements, collaborate with business stakeholders, and support end-to-end procurement operations in a dynamic enterprise environment. Candidates must be willing to travel 25% to 50% as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM and procurement-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.

• Analyze, design, and optimize procurement and purchasing processes within SAP environments.

• Manage end-to-end procurement workflows, including requisitioning, purchasing, purchase order processing, goods receipt, and vendor management.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective SAP MM solutions.

• Support and enhance SAP Ariba integrations and procurement processes.

• Drive vendor onboarding, supplier management, and procurement best practices.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between procurement and other business functions.

• Facilitate testing, user training, issue resolution, and production support activities.

• Provide leadership and guidance during system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP MM with strong functional expertise.

• Extensive experience in Procurement and Purchasing processes.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • SAP MM (Materials Management)

  • Vendor Management

  • Purchase Order Management

  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes

  • SAP Ariba

• Proven ability to lead SAP MM and procurement-related projects or workstreams.

• Strong understanding of procurement operations, supplier management, and purchasing best practices.

• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability and willingness to travel 25% to 50% to Houston, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement.

• SAP Ariba implementation or support experience.

• SAP certification in MM, Procurement, or Ariba.

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
