Kit Assembler

Assembly and production of materials kits. The position is responsible for verifying and bagging the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items following assembling instructions. This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Department Supervisor.Job Category: Hourly, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Responsibilities and Duties:Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.Deliver internal orders to workstations.Utilization of work order processing software.Participate in departmental meetings and training.Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis.Secondary ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and clean workstation and production facility.Assist in performance of periodic departmental and facility wide inventories.Assist in periodic facility expansion and upgrade projects.Be advised this position description does not contain an all-inclusive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee in this position.
