Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry


Location: Santa Fe, NM


Pay: $87 per hour


Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM

The role involves providing high-quality care to post-cardiac cath and post-surgical patients, including those on high-risk medications and respiratory patients on NIPPV. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Meet expectations of applicable competencies, such as Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends for intervention
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care, following Nursing Standards of Care
• Make nursing decisions based on evaluations of patient outcomes, modifying care plans as necessary
• Participate in patient and significant other health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Evaluate the plan of care and perform various Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
• Clear communication manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient
• Experience level will determine hire status, with a clinical ladder for relevant experience and certifications
