Job Title Registered Nurse – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) Location Philadelphia, PA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) | Onsite | At least 1–2 weekends per month required | No holiday requirement Key Responsibilities Provide family-centered antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care within a 32-bed maternity unit Float between Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed Perform antepartum monitoring and fetal monitoring throughout patient care Deliver postpartum and newborn care to a diverse urban patient population spanning a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure patient safety and positive birth experiences Support patient and family education throughout the childbirth experience Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery and/or LDRP nursing Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU settings (float capability required) Proficiency in postpartum care, newborn care, and antepartum care including antepartum monitoring Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not required) Current BLS and NRP certifications Preferred Experience / Skills Experience caring for diverse urban populations across a range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds Familiarity with evidence-based practices in maternal and newborn care Why Join Us Work within a comprehensive, multidisciplinary maternity unit dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers, newborns, and families Gain broad clinical experience by floating across Labor & Delivery and NICU in a dynamic urban healthcare environment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 770992.
