This role involves providing specialized pre-operative care for surgical patients, including verifying consents and medication review, as well as phase 2 post-operative recovery. The position offers opportunities to work closely with surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Position: RN - Pre/Post at the healthcare providers facility in Philadelphia, PA Shift Timings: 8-hour shifts available from 6am-2:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, and 11:30am-8pm Schedule: Shift hours of 8, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of relevant healthcare experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with perioperative nursing, IV insertion, EPIC optime, bladder scanner, EKG, glucometer, pneumatic device, and perioperative care experience in pre-operative and phase 2 recovery. Responsibilities: verifying consents, medication review, assessing patients, providing phase 2 post-op care, supporting PACU RN on call, and managing patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3. Additional Information: The position requires working weekdays and weekends with a 24-hour weekend call. No float rotation is necessary.
