Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting personalized treatment plans that speak to their unique needs
• Implement physical therapy methodologies that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation experts to maximize outcomes
• Guide and educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge protocols, and ways to perform home exercise regimens
• Meticulously document evaluations, interventions, and progress adhering to facility protocols and regulations
• Participate actively in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure an integrated approach to patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or comparable degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, but not a requisite
