- # Field Service Sales RepresentativeApply now< Back to search resultsOur Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesMETTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Sales Representative for the Mid Atlantic Region to drive growth by promoting maintenance agreements and expanding service accounts. You as a Field Sales Rep will target new and existing customers, collaborate with sales teams, and manage account activities to meet revenue goals.What You'll Do:* Travel regularly to customer sites and regional meetings to support sales activities and business growth.* Prospect, develop relationships, and close comprehensive maintenance agreements with both existing and new customers.* Promote and sell a complete range of value-added service products, including maintenance agreements and calibration services.* Collaborate with Lab and Industrial Business Area teams to align sales efforts and present MT as a differentiated service provider.* Manage customer accounts effectively, including proposal preparation, pricing administration, and coordination of service scope with sales representatives.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (FDA, USP, ISO, etc.) and internal processes such as SAP CRM for effective sales and service operations* Manage qualification and nurture activities, in their territory, that specifically includes contacting potential and existing customers* Analyze and prioritize activities to focus on the highest potential opportunities for success.* Other duties may be assigned as needed.What You Need to Succeed* Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business, marketing, finance, or closely related discipline is preferred; or a minimum of two to three years sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience* Formal training in selling techniques and account management* Strong customer service, analytical, and reasoning skills* SAP knowledge/experience preferred, but some experience with ERP and/or CRM systems needed* Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint* Must be a self-starter who will identify problems and initiate corrective actions without specific direction from managementOur Offer to You* Medical, dental and vision care coverage and a 401(k) savings plan with company matching – all starting on date of hire* Tuition reimbursement, employee wellness programs, plus other perks and discounts* Parental and caregiver leave policies* All the usual benefits such as paid time off, flexible spending, short-and long-term disability, basic life insurance, business travel insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and domestic partner benefits* Global market strength and worldwide leadership in weighing* A brand name that is identified worldwide with precision, quality, and innovation* Thousands of patents, design and innovation awards* A commitment to extraordinary service on our state-of-the-art equipmentAbout Mettler ToledoMETTLER TOLEDO is a global leader in precision instruments and services.
