IV Team Charge Nurse

BayCare is looking for its newest IV Team Charge Nurse in Tampa, FL. The IV Team Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Licensure & Certification: RN license is required, BLS is required.

Education: Required BSN or BS Healthcare related field or an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.

Experience: Required 2 years RN experience in any setting.

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 12 hour shifts Shift: Shift 2

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other
