Probate Attorney

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to support high net worth probate matters within its Estate Planning and Probate practice group. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is looking to take a strategic, leadership-oriented approach to their work while collaborating closely with partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support high net worth probate and estate administration matters
• Prepare trust and estate accountings, as well as estate and fiduciary tax returns
• Draft legal documents, conduct research, and develop strategic case approaches
• Work closely with partners to deliver effective and personalized client solutions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professionalism
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient matter execution

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Washington State Bar (required)
• LLM, CPA, or Masters of Tax (required)
• Experience administering taxable estates, including accountings and tax return preparation
• Strong drafting, writing, and legal research skills
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication abilities
• Ability to take initiative and operate in a leadership capacity on matters
