What’s a typical day as Laboratory Quality Technician? You’ll be:

• Performing laboratory testing to ensure reliable and consistent results.
• Operating laboratory equipment for Oil Analysis and R&D activities, including processing customer samples through routine and third-party testing.
• Receiving and processing customer samples and preparing experimental blends as instructed.
• Maintaining accurate records, supporting documentation, and database management.
• Assuring laboratory cleanliness, stocking supplies, and maintaining equipment under supervisor guidance.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and other departments regarding QA trends and process improvements.
• Supporting production teams with timely, on-demand testing and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) in ERP systems.
• Completing administrative tasks and other duties as assigned to support laboratory operations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required); technical experience in chemical, electrical, or mechanical fields is preferred.
• Bring 1+ years of manufacturing or laboratory experience performing quality testing (chemical industry experience preferred).
• Possess HAZMAT training/experience (a plus).
• Can read and follow laboratory work instructions with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate solid troubleshooting, decision-making, and effective communication skills.
• Are proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (a plus).
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety, quality, and process improvement.
