The Cook helps to prepare and cook foods served to Vista Del Mar residents and staff.

Essential Job Duties (other duties may be assigned):

• Prepares food in accordance with established guidelines and procedures;
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers;
• Sets up and closes food station(s);
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service that meet outlined standards. Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.

What You Bring to VDM:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year previous experience in a food service environment.

Work schedule - Monday 5:30am-1:30pm - Tuesday 5:30am-1:30pm - Wednesday 5:30am-1:30pm -Thursday 5:30am-1:30pm - Friday 5:30am - 1:30pm

Salary : $19.00 - $21.00/hour
