Job Description As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 09:00 PMThur10:00 AM - 09:00 PMFri10:00 AM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general questions, and support a professional presence aligned with healthcare location expectations. Communicate with staff, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, policy issues, and incidents requiring follow-up. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience are required. Hospital-required vaccinations are required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
