Surgical Nurse Practitioner

Collaborative Cardiac Surgery team
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: Ongoing/PRN coverage
Schedule: Weekday shifts 7:00am 5:00pm. Weekday call 7:00am 7:00am. Weekend call from Saturday 7:00am Monday 7:00am with no in-hospital rounding.
• Cardiac Surgery coverage at a Level II Trauma Center
• Manage fresh post-op cardiac surgery patients after ICU discharge and perform consults
• Must be comfortable with post-op cardiac surgery care and ventilator management
• Emergent cardiac cases including AVR and ABR; elective cases will be paused during coverage
• Support from Cardiac Surgeons, OR APP, and ICU APP
Active Maryland License Required (We can help license you!)
Credentialing Timeframe: TBD
