Apex Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This role offers exceptional schedule flexibility , industry‐leading compensation , and malpractice insurance fully covered by Apex .
Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will provide high‐quality clinical care to SNF residents, collaborating with facility leadership, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is ideal for NPs who value autonomy, predictable workflows, and a supportive, well‐structured clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and acute patient assessments
- Manage chronic conditions and develop care plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and facility leadership
- Document all encounters in accordance with regulatory standards
- Provide timely follow‐up and continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (Maryland)
- Experience in SNF, LTC, geriatrics, or internal medicine preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to compassionate, patient‐centered care
