Cecilia , part of the NW Hospitality Group —home to Amaro’s Table and Gustav’s —has been serving standout Northwest-inspired cuisine and thoughtful cocktails in the heart of downtown Vancouver since 2023. Known for its warm and beautiful atmosphere, scratch kitchen, and beverage program rooted in creativity and balance, Cecilia has quickly become one of Vancouver’s favorite destinations for genuine hospitality and exceptional dining.

We’re currently looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team for Happy Hour and Dinner shifts .

You understand food and wine pairings and can confidently guide guests through a seasonally inspired menu.

3. Beverage Knowledge
You’re well-versed in classic and modern cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer. You know how to listen to a guest’s preferences and recommend something they’ll love—especially when it comes to exploring new flavors or amari.

4. Communication & Connection
You collaborate well with others and engage guests in a genuine, thoughtful way. You bring positivity to every shift and help foster a team-focused environment.

5. Adaptability & Composure
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and can multitask without sacrificing quality or service.

6. Attention to Detail
From drink execution to bar cleanliness and guest interactions, you hold yourself to a high standard of excellence and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft consistently balanced and well-garnished cocktails to Cecilia and Amaro’s Table standards
• Develop and execute cost-conscious cocktail specials and seasonal menus
• Maintain expert knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and backbar—especially amari
• Provide thoughtful recommendations to guests and team members alike
• Accurately ring in and track all beverages before service; every drink must have a ticket
• Build rapport with guests and recognize regulars by name
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely, professional manner
• Monitor alcohol consumption and discreetly manage over-service if needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive bar and prep area
• Record comps, spills, and log notes daily for MOD review
• Support with restocking, inventory rotation, and bar maintenance
• Follow all steps of service as outlined in the Server Guidelines
• Communicate any *86s, equipment issues, or tap changes to management
• Complete additional tasks or directives from management as needed
