Compensation will be based on heavy equipment and dealership experience.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Access to a full range of benefits that support your health, well-being, and future.Stay Ahead of the Curve: We're committed to your development, offering hands-on experience to stay current with the latest John Deere technology and industry trends.A Culture of Safety & Teamwork: At West Side, we prioritize safety and foster a collaborative team environment that works together to get the job done and ensure customer satisfaction.What You'll Do:Accurate Payroll Processing: You'll take charge of processing employee payroll on scheduled dates, ensuring timely and correct payments.Monitor Time Reporting: Proactively monitor our electronic time reporting system to prevent errors and work with managers to address any issues.Resolve Payroll Inquiries: Be the go-to person for employees, answering their payroll-related questions and resolving any concerns with professionalism and accuracy.Bonus & Commission Payouts: You'll manage bonus and commission payouts, ensuring everything is handled promptly and correctly.Employee Benefits & Union Payments: Process invoices related to employee benefits and union employee fund payments.Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reportsAccount Reconciliation & Resolution: Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actionsWhat We're Looking For:Previous Payroll Experience: Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk, Payroll Specialist, or similar role. Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP or QuickBooks is highly preferred.Knowledge of Payroll Regulations: Understanding of wage laws, confidentiality policies, and employee notification requirements.Accounting Fundamentals Expertise: Understands accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgetsTech-Savvy: Comfort with standard desktop applications and payroll systems.Accuracy & Confidentiality: A high level of attention to detail, precision in processing data, and commitment to confidentiality.Great Communication Skills: Ability to address employee questions and resolve payroll and accounting concerns in a professional and approachable mannerReady to Join Us?
