(USA) Warehouse (LOG) - Weekdays/2nd Shift

Warehouse Cargo Processor

*** Must be able to work weekdays from 4:00pm to 12:00am ***

Role and responsibilities include:

• Processing all inbound/outbound cargo and trucks daily.
• Verifying and comparing information from pre-alerts.
• Updating warehouse board to control dock doors and availability.
• Acting as a liaison between warehouse office and CS department.
• Providing updates through emails and timely responses on requests for ongoing loads.
• Verifying, processing, and labeling freight for imports or export.
• Recording and reporting all impaired or damaged merchandise items, entering data in company WMS.
• Helping achieve high levels of profitable growth on all assigned shipments by proactively analyzing order for overages and shortages, assisting in cycle and inventory counts, inspecting deliveries for damage making note of any damages and advising managers of findings, reconciling and confirming the accuracy of paperwork before releasing product, and maintaining security levels throughout the warehouse at all times.
• Maintaining records and work environment to comply with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Actively participating in all training opportunities, completing 100% of all trainings on time.
• Updating and verifying information for inbound or outbound shipments in WMS which includes but is not limited to weight, dimensions, and pictures according to SOP.
• Ensuring security standards are followed at all times and reporting any irregularities.
• Proactively expressing ideas and thoughts to leadership regarding training and operational developments.
• Receiving, loading, unloading cargo to and from trucks, efficiently and safely, ensuring paperwork is correct and checking for damages and shipping discrepancies overages or shortages and reporting any findings to management.
• Organizing, maintaining, and administering the warehouse floor space, maintaining work environment to comply with all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Preparing and palletizing cargo, performing data entry, assisting in cycle and physical inventory counts, monitoring inventory levels, temporarily storing and repackaging product per customer and district operations directives, printing labels, and maintaining records as required.
• Ensuring proper handling and delivery of cargo and operations of related equipment.
• Following DG, HAZMAT, or other regulations and requirements and complying with all SOPs and MEC policies.
• Proactively assisting other members of MEC to help MEC achieve its vision and strategic goals.
• Completing other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• High school or higher (to be able to perform duties which requires basic math skills).
• General warehousing knowledge.
• Being able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience will be considered an advantage but not required.
• Basic working experience as a Warehouse admin.
• Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs.
• Great physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Capability to work well with others.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, bilingual preferred.
• Should be flexible with shifts and days as operation may require attendance on weekends or holidays.
