Hangman is currently looking for positive and hard-working art handlers / drivers in Los Angeles. Position also requires employees to operate our monthly 5-7 day SF shuttle, once per quarter. Born out of our love for art, music and traveling, Hangman is a fast-growing art services/transportation company based in Brooklyn, NY with warehouses in Los Angeles, Miami, FL and the Hamptons. Responsibilities Safe packing and unpacking artworks of various types Safely moving art to and from Hangman vehicles Safely securing art on trucks Assisting and/or leading in art installation Client interactions General knowledge of drills, levels, tape measures and knives Performs other related duties as required Punctual and communicative Available 830am-6pm weekdays and occasional weekend Operation and management of vehicle and cargoUse of electronic logging device and associated software Use of Hangman software during the course of work Open to operate at least one 4-7 day SF shuttle run per quarter Requirements MUST HAVE 3+ years experience within Fine Art Services Packing experience Previous experience at an art services company, museum, or gallery Ability to safely lift 40-50lbs individually Ability to drive up to 26’ box truck (non CDL) Ability to work independently Basic knowledge of mechanical functioning of diesel trucks Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance as necessary (i.e. checking fluids, tires, identifying and managing vehicle issues as they arise) Knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging device usage a plus Knowledge of local and state roads a plus Knowledge of art, music and travel a plus Operating a monthly 5-7 day SF shuttle, once per quarter. #J-18808-Ljbffr Shantell Martin, Inc.
