Base pay range $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr Responsibilities Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Register sales on assigned cash register and provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and poster print services. Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade‑up and/or companion items. Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as required. Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco. Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super‑structures, and sale merchandise, and complete resets and revisions as directed. Assist with separation of food items and product placement and perform stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out method. Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment. Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services, poster print services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products. Assume web pick‑up responsibilities, monitor orders, fill items, and deliver orders to customers. Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Training & Personal Development Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by management or assigned by corporate. Basic Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
