With a manageable caseload of 20-25 students, you'll provide individualized support and collaborate closely with colleagues, administrators, and families.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with 4th and 5th grade or elementary school-aged students
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor instruction to address varied learning needs
• Previous resource or co-teaching experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for 4th and 5th grade resource students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Track and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Communicate regularly with general education teachers, staff, and families
• Support inclusion and positive behavior strategies within the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional development
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive classroom culture where every student feels valued
