Job Summary:   

Come to work at a world class mountain shop and enjoy the best benefits package in the industry.  Join our passionate team and we’ll train you in all aspects of selling the latest outdoor gear - no experience required!  As a Retail Associate, you will provide our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience. 

Job Specifications: 

• Starting Wage: $21.50/hr - $26.88/hr  
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Job City:Dumont
• Shift Type: Part Time hours available 
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  
• Housing Availability: No  

Job Responsibilities:  

• Greet every guest, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service 

• Accurate and efficient processing of all retail sales 

• Learn product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to guests 

• Maintain excellent store visual standards by continually straightening, folding, and restocking merchandise 

• Follow all company standards in regards to safety protocols and standard operating procedures 

• Understand and follow both Vail Resorts’ and Patagonia’s environmental principles 

• Other duties as assigned 

Job Requirements:  

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends.      

• Commitment to exceptional Customer Service.                 

• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods.                                                                
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English

The expected pay range is $21.50/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
