CNC Machine Operator

Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture metal components according to specifications and production schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and job travelers. Load raw materials and unload finished parts from CNC equipment. Measure and inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Monitor machine operations and make offsets or adjustments to maintain quality standards. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Change tooling, inserts, and fixtures as required for production runs. Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and report maintenance needs to supervisors. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational. Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and parts. Assist with material handling, inventory control, and movement of parts throughout the facility. Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards. Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to meet customer requirements and production goals.
