Long Term Care Pharmacist in Bethlehem, PA

Job Description

A Long-Term Care pharmacy in Lehighton, PA, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for temporary coverage throughout September 2026. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate dispensing and compliance with regulatory standards. Scheduled shifts are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing consistent hours during the assignment.

Responsibilities:

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
Dispense medications promptly and accurately
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain patient safety by adhering to regulatory and safety protocols
Support additional pharmacist duties as required to meet operational needs

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
Previous pharmacy experience; Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
Familiarity with pharmacy systems such as QS1 and DocuTrack is a plus
Reliable and available for multiple coverage dates throughout September

Schedule:

September 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30
Daily shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
