Provide critical pharmacy expertise as a licensed Pharmacist supporting a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Lehighton, PA, during September 2026. This temporary assignment offers the opportunity to apply your skills in a specialized LTC setting, ensuring safe and timely medication dispensing while collaborating with pharmacy staff.
Location:
- Lehighton, Pennsylvania
Schedule:
- September 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30
- Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions for LTC patients with accuracy
- Dispense medications efficiently and safely in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff for smooth operations
- Assist with daily pharmacy workflow and problem resolution
- Maintain stringent patient safety and regulatory standards
- Perform other pharmacist duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing is mandatory
- Prior experience in pharmacy practice required; LTC pharmacy background preferred
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems such as QS1 and DocuTrack is highly advantageous
- Dependable availability for multiple scheduled dates throughout September
