Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney AmLaw 50 Opportunity Compensation$310,000 – $390,000
A premier global law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its New York office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing institutional lenders, developers, REITs, private equity sponsors, real estate investment funds, and other sophisticated clients in complex commercial real estate finance transactions.
Ideal Background• 4–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
• Experience representing institutional lenders, developers, REITs, private equity sponsors, borrowers, and real estate investment funds
• Experience handling commercial real estate financings , including lender-side representation
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, mortgages, deeds of trust, security agreements, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, and other financing documents
• Experience reviewing and analyzing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, organizational documents, leases, and other real estate due diligence materials
• Experience supporting acquisition financings, construction financings, bridge loans, mezzanine financings, syndicated loans, and portfolio lending transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated real estate finance transactions while maintaining significant client interaction
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
