Specimen Management Specialist

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Management Specialist in Raritan, NJ to manage specimens, communicate with customers and internal teams, and resolve service requests. This position involves specimen preparation, triage, identification, and logistics support in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between laboratory, clients, and patients for communication
• Resolve customer requests via phone, email, and instant messenger
• Prepare, triage, identify, and label specimens for analysis
• Review test forms for accuracy and document discrepancies
• Pack, ship, and store specimen samples as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Comfort handling biological specimens
• 3+ months specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience (preferred)

Compensation: $18.25-$22/hr.
