Business Development Associate

Storytime is a creator marketing platform that connects restaurants and local businesses with influencers to run authentic, high‑impact campaigns. The Role (New grads welcome!!!) We're looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team. You'll be on the front lines of growing Storytime's restaurant and business client base — identifying prospects, driving outreach, and bringing new partners onto the platform, as well as assisting with partner support when needed. This is a full‑time role with real ownership from day one. You'll work closely with our founding team and have direct visibility into how an early‑stage startup grows. What You'll Work On Identifying and researching prospective restaurant and business partners Owning outreach campaigns via email, phone, and in‑person as needed Qualifying leads and managing a pipeline from first contact to close Maintaining accurate records of pipeline activity in our CRM Developing outreach templates, decks, and sales materials Tracking and reporting on outreach performance metrics Providing feedback from the field to inform product and marketing decisions What We're Looking For 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Self‑starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset Genuine interest in startups, local business, or the creator economy Comfort in a fast‑paced environment where things move quickly Nice to Have Prior experience in sales, hospitality, or a customer‑facing role Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) Ability to explain technical software to non‑technical businesses Interest in restaurants, influencer marketing, or local media What We Offer Competitive salary + equity Hybrid flexibility in New York, NY Direct mentorship from the founding team Real ownership at an early‑stage startup How to Apply Send an email to View email address on click.appcast.io with: Your resume A short note on why you're specifically interested in joining the Storytime team #J-18808-Ljbffr
