Position Description

J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is seeking a Warehouse Associate who will load, unload, and move material within or near the plant, yard, or work site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Receives instructions from the Foreman or Materials Manager to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys the load to the destination
• Counts, weighs, and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.
• Operates industrial truck and crane to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Operates forklift
• Identifies raw materials and their storage locations
• Document material moves within the warehouse
• Reviews the bill of materials and work orders.
• Pulls material and kits into bins for specific work orders.
• Safely perform duties; wear required PPE at all times.
• Observes and complies with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS.

Position Requirements

Vocational/technical training, a high school diploma or general education degree, and work experience in an industrial manufacturing or paint shop setting are needed.
