FRONT-OF-HOUSE RESTAURANT MANAGER

Two California Locations: Burlingame and Corte Madera

$80,000–$90,000 + Benefits

Our client, a highly respected upscale restaurant group with more than 30 years of success, is seeking experienced Front-of-House Restaurant Managers for two locations in Burlingame and Corte Madera, California.

This is an excellent opportunity for polished hospitality leaders with high-volume upscale, fine-dining, or full-service restaurant experience. The company offers exceptional training, a supportive executive team, and strong opportunities for advancement as the organization continues to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least three years of restaurant management experience
• Experience managing a high-volume restaurant generating $4 million or more in annual sales
• Upscale casual, fine-dining, or polished full-service restaurant experience required
• Strong front-of-house and table-service leadership experience
• Italian cuisine, wine, and elevated service experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant teams
• Strong understanding of labor management, budgeting, and cost controls
• Professional communication and guest-resolution skills
• Ability to maintain high service, presentation, and hospitality standards
• Local candidates within commuting distance of Burlingame or Corte Madera

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily front-of-house operations while ensuring polished, efficient, and consistent service
• Create a hospitality-first culture that builds guest satisfaction and loyalty
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop hourly associates and supervisors
• Monitor dining-room activity and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, timekeeping, overtime, and team productivity
• Review financial performance, forecast sales and labor, and support restaurant profitability
• Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, waste reduction, and cost controls
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, ambiance, presentation, and brand standards
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety, and company policies
• Utilize POS, scheduling, inventory, and guest-loyalty systems effectively
• Partner with culinary leadership, regional management, human resources, and corporate support teams
• Support local promotions, special events, and community-engagement initiatives
