Registered Behavior Technician - Frederick County Afternoons and Evenings

Job Summary

At Channel ABA, we are committed to providing exceptional behavior analytic services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Frederick County, MD. As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with clients implementing treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our team focuses on assent-based, compassionate ABA therapy that helps children build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in homes, schools, and community settings

• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA, working one-on-one with clients

• Maintain accurate and timely data collection and reporting

• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and modify treatment plans as needed

• Provide ongoing support and supervision to clients and families

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

• High school diploma (bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)

• One year minimum of working with individuals with autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges

• Experience with online data collection programs preferred

• Efficient written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA

• Must submit to a federal and state background check

• Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run, or stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and carry up to 35 lbs

• Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes

• Current first aid and CPR certifications and willingness to complete background checks

• Must have Afternoon/Evening availability
