Job Title: Machine Set Up Operator Job Description

We are seeking hands-on, mechanically minded individuals who enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and seeing the results of their work every day. This role involves setting up and operating ACME screw machines and industrial cold heading machines to produce high volumes of precision metal parts used in real-world applications. No prior cold heading experience is necessary as training will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude.

• Set up and operate cold heading and screw machines to produce high-volume metal parts.
• Learn how to dial in machines, adjust tooling, and keep production running efficiently.
• Inspect parts during setup and production to meet customer blueprints and specifications.
• Run multiple machines simultaneously once trained.
• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to maintain quality production.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and preventative upkeep.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace according to 5S standards.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth production flow.

• Experience with equipment, farming, automotive, machining, or maintenance is a plus.

Work in a general machine shop environment that is organized but can be a little loud and hot. The position offers two shifts: 1st Shift from 6am to 4:30pm, and 2nd Shift from 4pm to 2:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Branch, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
