As a Cardiology Office Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and the well-being of patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Triage calls and manage patient communications
• Enter and scan results into patient charts
• Monitor and manage clinical documents for provider review
• Make follow-up calls regarding medication adjustments and test results
• Track orders and create reminders during chart reviews
• Manage incoming referrals and cancellation lists
• Review provider schedules and set reminders for medication changes and testing
• Monitor CardioMEMS and manage prior authorizations for PSCK9 patients
• Handle insurance authorizations and peer-to-peer reviews for testing

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 2 years of clinic experience
• Experience in triage and telephone communication
• Knowledge of cardiology (highly preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients about medications and medical history
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Experience in a clinic or medical office setting
• Need 2 years experience in setting
