Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state credential/license to practice as a School Psychologist
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
• Prior school-based experience preferred, especially within diverse communities
• Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Strong communication, cultural competency, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
• Provide psychological assessments, direct interventions, and consultation services
• Support students’ mental health and well-being through individual and group counseling
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective learning strategies
• Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and advocate for student needs
• Offer crisis intervention and support when necessary
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team planning and professional development opportunities
