Litigation Legal Assistant

To Apply for this Job Click Here A boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting complex litigation matters. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents in state and federal courts.
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, travel arrangements, and court appearances.
- Coordinate court filings, service of documents, and case administration activities.
- Draft and revise correspondence, pleadings, and litigation-related documents.
- Prepare tables of contents, tables of authorities, and other filing components.
- Conduct legal and public records research using online research platforms.
- Maintain electronic document management systems and case files.
- Process expense reports, time entry, and administrative requests.
- Coordinate virtual meetings and provide general office support as needed. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of litigation legal assistant experience. Securities Law or Complex Business Litigation Required.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
- Experience formatting TOA\/TOCs is required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with document management systems and legal research tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Flexibility to support time-sensitive litigation matters when needed.
