Litigation Legal Assistant New York, NY | Hybrid After 30 Days A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing high-level administrative and legal support. This position is in-office Monday through Friday initially , with the opportunity to work remotely two days per week after 30 days. What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys.
- Prepare, edit, format, and revise legal documents.
- Assist with court filings and other litigation-related documents.
- Manage calendars, correspondence, mail, case files, and deadlines.
- Support attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, trial binders, and court logistics.
- Assist with document management, legal research, billing, time entry, and expense reports.
- Coordinate travel and other administrative arrangements.
- Perform light paralegal duties and provide support to the broader legal team as needed.
- 5+ years of law firm experience , preferably supporting a litigation practice.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal document preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing a high volume of work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology.
- Professional demeanor and strong client-service skills.
